XI Sedinta

Grupul de iniţiativă civică Security a lansat astăzi, 3 martie 2011, campania “Un leu pentru securitate”. Grupul îşi propune să contribuie la protecţia vieţii pietonului (elevii ce studiază în Liceul Teoretic “Dimitrie Cantemir” şi Gimnaziul Văsieni) prin amplasarea unei zebre în faţa liceului şi una în faţa gimnaziului şi să organizeze seminare informative despre securitatea la trafic pentru elevii acestor instituţii.

Prima activitate în cadrul acestei campanii a fost dicuţia cu Primarul satului Văsieni domnul Constantin Plămădeală pentru a iniţia o colaborare ce va asigura rezolvarea problemei de insecuritate la trafic. Primarul a fost deschis şi a promis ca va susţine grupul Security.

Today the PA group met with the mayor of Vasieni.  The meeting went well and the mayor spent time to listen to our pitch for crosswalks infront of the two schools on the main road.  He agreed that “zebras” are needed and agreed to collaborate with Security, the name of our PA group.  Tomorrow, he is going to call a construction company in Ialoveni, Vasieni’s raion, to figure out how much two crosswalks would cost.  Then, he is going to speak to the raion council to see if they can budget this request into the already funded plan to repave the road in Vasieni later this year . In addition, later this month with the Mayor meets with the raion council regarding this subject he will invite Security to attend.

In the meantime, Security members will be walking house to house to gather signatures and 1 lei in support of this project this coming week.  Next week, Security will have a meeting with the school director to discuss the plan and receive her approval and guidance.
